Chocolate Cupcakes with Vanilla/Almond Icing.

Just playing again today with icing. These are some chocolate cupcakes I had in the freezer. I made two dozen and I take a few at a time. :) The icing is Vanilla/Almond. YUM.

I sure have a lot to learn but we all do when we start a new hobby.
Tasty. I had about 10 less cookies to decorate because Albert and I kept eating them while the white base was drying. LOL.

#11 Transitional Rustic Focaccia

Here is my try at the recipe in Peter Reinhart's book "Whole Grain Breads" called Transitional Rustic Focaccia. It is on page 264.

I've only tried Focaccia once before and I liked that recipe MUCH better.

This is tasty though. :o)

So busy. Back to my cookies. :)

Cake balls with icing flavored with Wedding Bouquet & Vanilla & Butter!

I don't know why I'm baking so much. LOL.
Well, my daughter in law Erica was bringing my grandson Drew over for a few hours and I know she likes the icing I make with the Wedding Bouquet flavor so I made some cake balls. I also wanted to try some other flavor so I used vanilla and butter flavoring on some.
 OH so tasty.

The swirls on the left are looser than the ones on the right. That is how I knew which flavor was which. Erica knew right off the bat just by smelling. LOL!

Aren't they so very cute?

I used my Nostalgia Electrics Donut Holes Maker. YUMMY!

My 1st time trying decorated sugar cookies 11/21/2007

Yes, almost four years ago I tried decorating sugar cookies. It took me forever and I have never tried again.
It is to do Hello Kitty and post your photos when you are done. :) I think I will try it.

My BROWNIE POPS! :o)

Ok, so I never said I was too bright. I made these brownie pops and didn't cut off the harder outside ridge so the inside of the pops have a little character to them once in a while. LOL. Still tasty though.

Now to get rid of them so I don't eat them all. :)

#10 Transitional German-Style Many Seed Bread

Here is my try at the Transitional German-Style Many Seed Bread from the Whole Grain Bread book by Peter Reinhart.
The recipe called for a lot of different seeds. I'm not crazy about seeds in my bread so I just added all flax seed. I love flax seed. :)

Awesome tasting.
