  5. pointed q-tips?
where do you get them from?
what do you use them for?
    are they for cleanup?
i've been trying a brush but can't get enough remover to take off dark color when they stray onto my tips

  6. peripatetic33,
The pointed Q-Tips I got from Walmart but they don't carry them anymore and I've found some at Rite Aid and I think Kinney Drugs. I use them for clean up.
I have a hard time with a brush too. Would like a nice stiff one. LOL, boy did that ever sound dirty. LOL>

  15. Do you ever think about polishing nails as a cash hobby? Friends and family are sooo excited when I take out my nail polish tool box!!! I don't have a corner yet... and with 5 kids who would take that risk!!??? But I do have a pretty big tool box. (fits over 100 polishes) Which I'm asked to bring along when I visit!! LOL
But I often wonder if I should start charging $5 or so to friend's of a friend.... it would help support my polish addiction...hahha

  20. Sophie,
I have 'many' hobbies and that is what I'd like to keep them. I enjoy macramé, quilting, purse making, bread baking, graphic design, html, hand knitting, machine knitting, machine embroidery, cake and cookie decorating, Rachael Ray Cooking, Heat Press Transfer and now nail polishing.
I've had many ask me for all of my goodies I make and if I say yes to one then I should say yes to all AND besides that they would not be hobbies to enjoy but a JOB to dread.
I make things for family and friend gifts and that's about it. :)
Good idea but I don't want to end up disliking my 'joys'!
I did sell embroidered clocks at one point and YUP it became a JOB and a hassle. :)
    THanks though, really,
    Susie

  26. That is one heck of a nail station. I don't think my husband would let me have one that extensive, unless I let him decorate our bedroom with oakland raiders theme (which will happen over my dead body..haha)

  27. Beata,
    Yup it is. Thanks.
My husband doesn't let me do anything...........lol.......I just do it. :)

I don't have a lot in my local area to shop from. I mean just dollar stores and drug stores. A few other shops about an hour away. I do some of my shopping on line.
    Can you shop on line?

  43. Once again my small collection of nail polish has been justified! I just started a second tote and my family about threw a fit! Good to know I'm not the only one that has a bunch of polish! and also good to know that someone else has a ton of hobbies! I have maybe ten or 12 different things i like to do.

Thanks. Don't get mad but I have my own sewing room too. :) Kids have been grown and gone now for almost 8 years.
Here's my space where I sew quilts, wall hangings, make t shirts smaller, make purses, machine embroidery, fabric bowls, t shirt transfer and lots of other things.
