SO many rolls:
I was just sitting here thinking about the next recipe for the Bread Baker's Apprentice Book challenge being bagels. The challenge is sure getting me out of my comfort zone. :) Just like the time I did ten dozen rolls for my youngest sons wedding.EEEEEEEEKKKKKK!
and.......they didn't last very long either.
ReplyDelete:) Yup, they were pretty tasty.
ReplyDeleteMy bagels are proofing right now at room temp. I'm so excited to make them tomorrow! Good luck with yours!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how yours turn out. :)

I have thought about making bagels so many different times but have been scared to do so! You are such a good bread baker that it will be a breeze for you! BTW, the bread and rolls in your header are just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHoneyB,
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I'm 100% sure that YOU can do bagels. I think it is the same as me though when it comes to something new it can be intimating.
The bread in rolls in my header I'm actually baking again today. They are SEMOLINA Bread and Rolls. :) THEY are awesome.
Thanks again,
Susie
Hi Susie -
ReplyDeleteYour breads look great! I'm looking forward to taking a peek at your entire site...I'm sure I can learn a lot!
As for the bread...I only made a single batch...but the it rose tremendously & I had enough for a couple mini loaves as well...I used 8.5x4 inch loaf pans.
Take care!
Angela
Hi Angela,
ReplyDeleteThanks. This is a new blog so you won't find much on it yet. :)
Wow, that was a single batch you did? You did wonderfully. Nice baking along with you.
Susie
OMW, those are gorgeous! What a lucky son and what lucky wedding guests!
ReplyDeleteKayte,
ReplyDeleteThanks! They were pretty tasty if I do say so myself. :)
