Here is my manicure for today.

Here is my manicure for today. Just got done Fauxnading (FAKE KONAD PLATES). Is that what you call it? LOL.
I used the Aldi's polish #300. The color was named on the box but I don't have it anymore. The hearts are on fauxnad plate C01 and I used the Princess Special Konad Polish VIOLET PEARL.
I "LOVE" the white stamper. You can see the images so much better. I'm also finding that I "LOVE" the special polish. It looks so much better than any other kind.

Shorter nails and missing CA on the Harley. :)

I need to do a little more clean up but you get the idea.

I had to cut my nails short as I had quite a few splits. I don't mind short nails. :)

This is my first time using Sally Hanson Nail Quencher for a base. :)

This is ELF Dark Blue Polish. It looks like black at times.

I miss riding the Harley and being in CA so that's why I did this design.

I messed my pointer finger nail up by hitting it against the light. :)

Konaded my manicure I did yesterday:

I took mani from yesterday of Sally Hanson Xtreme Ocean Breeze and Konaded it with the image plate M57 and used China Glaze Millennium. A few mistakes but I'm learning a lot. I noticed that the China Glaze for Konading is a tad dryer so you have to work faster. I love it though as it shows up nicely.

Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear hard to apply? :o)

Is it just me or is Sally Hanson's Xtreme Wear (Ocean View) hard to apply? Maybe it is just me being new. I found the brush very strange. It was hard to apply and it didn't seem to want to spread. Clean up was a witch too. Pretty though. :o)

Strange but I'll keep it for a few days.

UPDATED: THIS IS A NEW PHOTO! I took off the konading

and redid it. :)

Well seeing I started into this new hobby on December 4th I think I'm doing ok but this is a weird combo. I like it and I don't. LOL!
I really need to get the contrast of my konading better. I only did the ring finger because it was just too light and I didn't feel like messing with it. :)
Here is what I used! The polish is China Glaze "Good Witch?" and the tips and konading are the small Sugar Kiss from one of the E.L.F. collections. That could be why it didn't show up good. Should have used a Konad brand of China Glaze. :)

Playing with Konad & covering tip wear:

I was getting some tip wear on my recent China Glaze "Harmony" manicure and I wanted to play with Konad anyway so I tried the full finger design from plate 57. I used Konad Special White and put Wet N Wild Sparkle on the tips. I love it. My pinkie has a mistake but that's ok, I'm learning.

Ok so I'm nuts. I got rid of the musical notes manicure and tried this China Glaze "Harmony". I love it. Maybe tomorrow or the next day I'll play with putting a design on them.

Konad muscial notes again:

The images turned out better this time. I just need to practice more and take my time polishing. I seem to get way too much polish on and it gathers up all over my cuticles. I don't know how to clean up my nails very well either.

Practice, practice, practice. Go slow, go slow, go slow. :)

FAILED Konad :(

LOL, well what do you know, a failed Konad. HA HA HA!

I learned a lot though. I learned to wait longer for things to dry better. I learned not to press so hard. I learned to use the SPECIAL POLISHES unless I've actually practiced before hand to see if another 'thick' polish will work and use a darker one.

I didn't bother to put top coat on or clean things up.

Tomorrow "IS" another day!
