Mother's Day Gifts (TWO POSTS)

Aren't these beautiful?
These came by Federal Express from my son Andrew and his wife Melissa.
I enjoyed them so much.
:)
I got this card from my grandson Mason who was 10 months old at the time. :)

Read it. It is so very cute. She where he drew all over it? :)

LOL!
See his hand at the bottom?
SO sweet.

Requested BM20 in pink and black:

I had a request from ARTOFNAIL, her website is here: http://artofnail.blogspot.com/ for me to try the BM20 plate with the design of stars and arrows in a pink base with black Konading.
Sorry but I didn't even see until just now in her request that she wanted me to use the MODE pink nail polish. Whoops. Hope this will show you what you wanted to see. :)
I used the pink from Color Club called "She's Soo Glam" that I got in a swap from my friend Jackie S. Her website is here: http://candycoatedtips.blogspot.com/
It was probably just me but I had a *itch of a time with the application.
This is 3 coats. OH SO PRETTY!

I love pinks! :)

Here is the Konading with plate BM20 and Konad black special polish!

I'm really loving the pink with black. Thanks ARTOFNAIL for suggesting I try it. :)

Don't ya love it?

Went photo nuts eh?

Had to get an outdoor shot! :)

Oh and had to show you how it goes good with my Harley shirt.
My husband of 36 years is going to swoop me up on the Harley when he gets home from work and head out for supper. :)
Enjoy the weekend gals,
Susie

I won a giveaway! Nail of the Day and Fauxnading with plate BM20

I won vibrant point of view's giveaway. COOL EH? Thanks Vicki!
I got to choose "6" of the many Mode Polishes she had. Here are the 6 I picked.
:)
Aren't they pretty?

HERE is her blog:

This is Mode Cosmetics "Hook Me Up"!
Pretty eh? I'm loving this color.

I was having one of those bad application days where I flooded my cuticles and I kept banging into stuff but it looks pretty good.
This is two coats.

I wore it plain for awhile as it is so pretty but decided to do a design from the Bundle master plate BM20 and Konad Blue Pearl.

I like this design a lot.

Matches my shirt for the day of course. LOL!

Here is the plate. The design is on the upper right hand corner.

These are the supplies I used.
The Borghese is something I got on sale at Rite Aid one day. It is called Perfetto Smudge Smoother. I have never used a smudge fixer before so I don't know how this rates but I can say it has worked to fix a problem 8 out of 10 times. :)
Have a great week,
Susie

Update to my ELF "Lilac" manicure using BM15 Fauxnad plate:

Quick update!
We are getting ready to take off on the Harley for the day. :) YEHA!
This is ELF's "Lilac" polish as the base that I showed yesterday. I decided to try another of Bundle Monster's Fauxnad plates that are for sale on Amazon (21 plates for $17.99 and free ship.
This is plate BM15 using the PEACOCK design and Konad Yellow polish for the stamping color.
:)
I love it.
Catch ya's later,

ELF Lilac Nail Polish Review

I have used the ELF nail polishes a few times before and found them sort of hard to apply but in a few coats they are always beautiful. This new color "Lilac" applied beautifully in three coats and there was almost nothing for clean up.
ELF polishes for only being $1 are a great way to have some polishing fun or for gifts. :)
I have found codes for half off and sometimes for free ship.
This photo is BEFORE clean up. Isn't that cool?

I'm LOVING this color. I can say this is one of my favorite polishes. It is so nice I didn't even feel like Konading over it. :o)

This outdoor shot shows the color really nice.
This is the second time I have used the Zoya REMOVE + for taking off my old polish and I am still loving it. Loving it so much I don't think I will ever use any other kind. :)

Zoya "DREW" polish...(edited to add Konading)!

This is Zoya's polish named "DREW". My grandson Drew is coming over to spend the whole day and overnight tomorrow I thought this one would be good to wear. He always smiles when I show him my nails and if he comments it is always a nice one. :)
Here's to you "DREW"! :)
Pretty eh?
:o)
Susie
See? I told you it was names Drew. :)

The application was so easy and so nice. One coat!

COOL EH?

I'm camera nuts aren't I?

This is the stuff I used!
Have a nice weekend,
Susie
EDITED to add Konading.
Not crazy about it. The Konad Silver is just TOO light. I think it should go in the garbage. :)
I think DREW will like it though.
Kitty Kat plate BM04!

Cool KONAD/FAUXNAD plate holder!!!

This sport card album is the perfect thing to hold your Konad/Fauxnad plates.
It will hold 100 of them.
I slit the bottom and took out the BASKET ball front and made my own.

Here it is from the side.

Here it is opened.
I bought it for $3.99 and $3.00 to ship. Not bad for only $6.99 and the ship time was fast.
This is where you can get it:

REVIEW: Zoya's REMOVE+

I ordered the 32 ounce REMOVE + from Zoya while they were having the $18 off sale. I also ordered 3 polishes during the sale too in another order. :)
REMOVE + is pretty expensive, at least it was in my mind before I bought it. I bought it because of the happy REMOVE users there were on a nail forum I read and because of the sale price.
REMOVE + for the 32 ounce size is $25 and $6.95 to ship but with the sale that is now over I got it for $13.95.
I used it for the very first time just now and I wish I would have bought the buy 4 get 4 sale. IT is SO awesome.
I was using the Sally's Beauty Secret Remover in the pink bottle and although it was pretty good at taking off the polish my skin and cuticles would always be white with dryness.
When I used the REMOVE + it actually was a tad easier to remove the polish and my skin and cuticles were so nice looking. No dryness.
WOULD I buy this again? YES, YES, YES!
Just thought you all should know that don't know to get it the next time they have a sale...........hell get it before.
Here is what the ZOYA website has to say:

I received another gift from Suzann! OPI's new mini's called Bright Lites.

I received another gift last night from Suzann. She is the owner of Suzann's Hair Shoppe here in town and I help her out once in a while.
Last night she gave me O.P.I's new mini's called Bright Lites. Aren't they the cutest?
Thanks Suzann! :o)
Left to right:
Charged Up Cherry, Need Sunglasses?, No Room For The Blues, and RapiDry Top Coat!

I decided to use the Charged Up Cherry. Application was great. This is two coats.

Isn't this so pretty! I think I'm getting a tad better about cleaning up my cuticles.

Of course I had to wear a sweater that matched. (SORT OF) LOL!

I decided on this Konad because Suzann is always so loving to me. Serious! :)

I used the plate from Bundle Monster. This is BM09!

It turned out great didn't it? I'm getting better with lining things up.

See the design on the plate??

Here are all the supplies I used. Why I used the LA Colors top coat instead of the OPI RapiDry Top Coat that came in the kit I'll never know. Oh well. There is always a next time. :)
This was SO very much fun.
Thanks again to all of my followers that make this so much more fun than writing to no one. LOL.
I've got 300 followers now. YEHA! I'm thinking of another giveaway but may be a while before I decide when and what.
Susie
