Nail Envy, Barielle Natural Nail Camouflage, OPI Mad As A Hatter! :o)

I am trying OPI's Nail Envy Nail Strengthener for the first time today with Barielle Natural Nail Camouflage on top of it. I actually like the look. It matches my skin. :)
I've heard good things about Nail Envy and thought I'd give it a whirl. I broke a nail today and had to cut them all back again. It seems I just start to gain some length and I brake one. :)

This is the tiny OPI Mad As a Hatter my friend Suzann bought me. :) Isn't it the cutest?

I've heard over and over and over again gals raving over this polish and I thought ya it's pretty but until you put it on yourself and see it in the light you can't appreciate it. It is one of my very favorites and I'm going to have to see about getting the BIG size. :)
It is so awesome.

  2. Nail Envy is great. I pretty much rely on it. You should definitely get a full size Mad as a Hatter before they disappear!

  3. I hate when a break a nail. I feel your frustration, as soon as you get the perfect length...a snagged nail. :(

OPI mad as a hatter looks awesome...I have a love/hate relationship with glitter polishes: love the look/hate the removal process

  5. I'm concerned about possible breaks too. My nails are flimsy.
That glitter looks great on you!

  6. Thanks gals. :)
Glitter is hard to remove. The best way I've found is using felt squares and pure acetone.
Yes, I'll have to find a large MAAH. :)

  10. Rebekah,
Glad you like it. Am I using it right? You put it under nail polish as a base right? It didn't say if you could polish over it.
    Thanks,
    Susie

  15. Hey Susie, your nails look great. I love MAAH. I think I'm using at some point this weekend. As far as removal, I found OPI's remover works really well on glitters.

And Nail Envy works really well as a base coat because it helps strengthen your nails for one, and also helps prevent your nails changing undesirable colors!

I just bought my first bottle of Barielle Camo and I'm really excited to try it out as a base for a sweet and girly french!

  21. i love nail envy! i've worked my way through the baby sized bottle, and have nothing but good things to say about it. i've heard that the big bottle gets gloopy quick, so beware :)

  22. Emma,
You can thin it right? Thanks,
    Susie

  23. Im on my 2nd full size bottle of Nail Envy. I didnt find it got thicker but as it is already thick it is hard to get the last bits of the polish out as the brush cant reach right to the bottom. Nail Envy in New Zealand is $40 (thats about $30US) so I stocked up on 4 bottles from my trip to America. I wear it whenever I don't have any polish on. I find it isn't the best as a base coat because you can peal it off.

  24. Hi Lisa,
Wow, that is a wicked price to pay. How much did you find it for over here?
I got it for under $9.
I have been using it as a base coat and it seems fine. I always like to wear polish so it would be too bad if I could only use it on bare nails. :)
