Bread Baker’s Apprentice: CHALLENGE #13 Focaccia

Here is my try with the Focaccia recipe. It is the 13th recipe in the Bread Baker's Apprentice Challenge. :)
THIS IS THE VERY BEST ONE YET!
Very easy and the taste is out of this world.
Who doesn't love all that olive oil and herbs? YUMMY!
Where is my signature "S"?
Here it is:
Sensational, Stupendous, Succulent, Savory, and Susie's!
Yes, I know I'm way ahead! I'm on the first week of August. I will be gone all of August so I'm trying to get to the end of August with the challenge so I will be where everyone else is when I return. I have two more to get to before I go. I don't know if I will find time or not. :)

  3. Must be you're full speed ahead is the only speed you know.
Looking forward to this one, it is wonderful.
Looks gorgeous. You can't beat olive oil, herbs and don't forget a little touch of salt ;) oh and garlic ... there I go adding on.

  4. Look at all those lovely little holes soaking up all that yummy oil. Great job Susie. I'll admit that I've been really looking forward to the focaccia. Gotta get through my cinnamon bread, corn bread and english muffins first though. Patience Mags... patience!

  7. MyKitchenInHalfCups,
Like I said I'm going to be gone all of Aug. I have 2 more to do to be right where the schedule is when I get back. I don't know if I will get to those or not.
Thanks for liking my Focaccia. :)
I didn't add salt. Not sure why but it didn't need it anyway.
    Thanks again,
    Susie

  9. Oh yeah, baby! This is beautiful looking bread!

And now, after reading your commnts, I'm wondering how, exactly, would be the best way to add garlic to the dough. I'm leaning towards lightly cooked...

  10. Laurie,
    Thanks! :)
I just added the "minced" garlic in the jar. It was easy to incorporate it into the oil. :)
    Have fun,
    Susie

  11. Going at our own pace is one of the things I love about this group. It doesn't seem to matter if we skip one, make a bunch in a row or go back and make one again.
    I love focaccia, looks great!

  30. Susie,

All of these wonderful looking things you bake - Mac and I want to know "Who is the one eatting them" as both you and Al are skinny...

I'd eat anything I baked or cooked so no longer do either...

I enjoy looking and reading about all you have or are accomplishing...

    Thanks...

    Peggy
