How much do you charge for these, Susie? These aren't just for personal use, are they? Or are they gifts for friends and family? Just curious. And how many hours did it take to make the top one with the buttons and all that stitching? And did you teach yourself or have you been professionally trained or learned your skills in the family? I'm interested because I have no creative gifts and I admire people who do.
Salisha, Thanks, I'll try to remember to visit your blog when I get home. Thanks.
jaljen, I just make these purses for me and for gifts for family and friends. They have a copyright on the pattern and you can't sell them. I think they take about 3 or 4 hours. It has been a while since I have done one. I never had any creative talent either until 2002. My boys moved out and I had more time and started to quilt. I then moved from one hobby to another to another. The purses are by Joan Hawley. Sheis the creator and very talented. Her website is: http://www.lazygirldesigns.com/ When I get stuck I turn to her. She has a yahoo group that I joined for help. You can find out about it on her site. Susie
