Katie in Cat Carrier:

Going to call the Vet when they open and get Katie in for her appointment. My daughter in law Erica let me borrow her Pet Carrier. :)
I put a towel inside and gave it a few Cat Nip sprays. I picked her up and put her nose near the towel and she went right in for a bit. :) Good way to get her use to it a little.

  2. Thanks Biba and jaljen,
I just called the Vet and she is going Wed to get examined, shots and wormed. I guess the spaying has to be done a few weeks after that.
    Thanks gals,
    Susie

  3. Aww! She's so cute! Did you ask them if she would have to stay over night when she gets spayed?

  4. Erica,
    :)
Nope I didn't ask. She has to wait a few weeks after the shots before she can have her spaying done. I'll make the appointment for that when I take her Wed.

  5. Great Big 'Atta Girl' to you. Anyone that will take in an abandoned animal & see to it's care, earns a star in their crown. I am so glad she now has a good home & good people to love her. When positive things like that happen, it gives me hope that this is a better world than I sometimes imagine it to be.

  6. Sheryl,
It is strange. I've never ever had a cat before and never thought I would but I'm finding her a joy. I think we are getting more joy given to us than we ever imagined.
We took a nap together today and she is started to want to me with us more.
    :)
    Thanks,
    Susie

    2. :) I'm glad.
She goes for her bath and nails done today and tomorrow are her exam, shots, and worming and I'll make her appointment for her spaying in a few weeks. :)
$300 for everything and a cat is loved. Just food expense from now on and an occasional vet appointment. :)

  7. I like her too and I used to hate cats. She is a good girl. I am glad you took her in.
