First Card I ever made for my son Ronnie's 28th birthday:

I embossed the card and envelope with musical notes.
I took little wooden letters and used my Copic Markers on them.

I used a glitter pen to write. I really need to learn to take my time with my writing. :)
I stitched around the oval with my Janome 6500 and I used ink and a make-up sponge around the outside. :)
We had a nice time together for his birthday.

  3. You never got into cards before?! Wow, I hope you love it. I do. I don't have your ability but I so much enjoy making cards.

  4. jaljen,
Nope, I haven't had time to get into cards. With all the hobbies I have I just picked up an interest in scrapbooking, stamping, copic markers and card making. :)
    Thanks,
    Susie

  5. Nice card. He's sure to love it and know it was made with lots of "mommy" love. :) I make handmade cards for friends and family too, but I haven't tried embossing yet.
