Update on my P90 workouts:

I haven't worked out since September 28th 2011. I had back issues and went to see a Chiropractor. To make a LONG story very short I was in NO pain in my neck but some crunching and she adjusted me 5 times and kept saying I shouldn't be in that much pain and that my neck was stubborn.
MRI's found three bulging discs in my neck and instability in my neck. She did some damage for sure. This was back in Oct and I'm still not back to where I started with her in regards to my neck. The back MRI showed a broken L5 that has shifted and a deformed tail bone.
I have been having Physical Therapy to strengthen my neck.
I've been walking some and doing pretty good.
I started back with my workouts on January 2nd. I am not doing the workouts Albert's doing. I'm starting back with the beginning workouts and going from there. It won't take me long to get back to the workouts I was doing. :)
My working out on Monday made me REAL sore the next day but better each day. Down 2 and 1/2 pounds so far. I'm at my high goal. My goal is 120 to 125. I find anything less than that my face looks WAY too thin. LOL.
My neck gets a little more sore but I'm sure that will get better.
My neck is bigger from doing all of these neck exercises. The Physical Therapist released me on my own and of course added even more exercises. :) His advice was the same as I was thinking so I agree. He said I didn't need the Nerve Conduction Study and if I could live with how I was (and he said I would get even better) that he felt I didn't need surgery. I agree on both counts. Awesome.
I am NOT a body. I am as God created me.

The plan for 2012 is to stay healthy and mobile. :)

Our New Years Eve

We had our grandson Drew here for the weekend. It was fun. We stayed up way past what we normally do but didn't make it till midnight. 10 pm was the best we all could do. LOL.
We had Sparkling White Grape Juice and very Buttery Popcorn while watching a movie. :)
Happy New Year,

Susie

My daughter in law Erica had a 'sweet' idea of all of us decorating Sugar Cookies this year so I baked a bunch of cookies for Christmas Eve afternoon.

Here I am filling up a decorator bag with white buttercream. :)

Here are a few of the cookies that were done.

FUDGE in the shape of Santa! :)

I made the fluff no fail fudge yesterday. It said to put the fudge in two 9 x 9 pans but I didn't have any so I thought of my Christmas Cake Pans that I never use. LOL.
ISN'T this cool?
Merry Christmas,
Susie

How do you stop negative thoughts?

How do you stop negative thoughts? You plant good thoughts!

When you try to stop negative thoughts, you are focusing on what you don't want - negative thoughts - and you will attract an abundance of them. They can never disappear if you are focused on them. The "stop" part is irrelevant - the negative thoughts are your focus. It doesn't matter if you are trying to stop negative thoughts or control them or push them away, the result is the same. Your focus is on negative thoughts, and by the law of attraction you are inviting more of them to you.

The truth is always simple and it is always easy. To stop negative thoughts, just plant good thoughts! Deliberately plant good thoughts! You plant good thoughts by making it a daily practice to appreciate all the things in your day. Appreciate your health, your car, your home, your family, your job, your friends, your surroundings, your meals, your pets, and the magnificent beauty of the day. Compliment, praise, and give thanks to all things. Every time you say "Thank you" it is a good thought! As you plant more and more good thoughts, the negative thoughts will be wiped out. Why? Because your focus is on good thoughts, and what you focus on you attract.

So don't give any attention to negative thoughts. Don't worry about them. If any come, make light of them, shrug them off, and let them be your reminder to deliberately think more good thoughts now.

The more good thoughts you can plant in a day, the faster your life will be utterly transformed into all good. If you spend only one day speaking of good things and saying "Thank you" at every single opportunity, you will not believe your tomorrow. Deliberately thinking good thoughts is exactly like planting seeds. As you think good thoughts you are planting good seeds inside you, and the Universe will transform those seeds into a garden of paradise. How will the garden of paradise appear? As your life!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Waffle Machine Sandwich? YUM!

I saw a website yesterday that shared recipes for sandwiches made in the waffle machine. I don't use my machine much at all so I thought I would give it a whirl.
It was corned beef with american cheese. What a neat idea and of course so tasty. :)
